Here is the third in our labeled dress series for today's update. Its a Jerry Marsch for Mardi Gras and is a wonderful piece!As light, it is an extraordinary printed silk that has been shot through with gold thread. BUT the thread is not done so it covers the dress completely, rather it is like a second overlay that creates a pattern of its own and leaves areas of the printed silk bare. The effect is that of a subtle shimmer over the entire gown and because the base fabric is not completely covered it moves very well!
