Vintage Gone Bad

UGHHH

I love Rachel Zoe - as a stylist I think she was a primary player in getting celebrities into vintage and thereby getting vintage into the mainstream.

But girl - step it back. Just cause its vintage doesn't mean its good everytime.

This to me are 2 bright and shiny cases of trying to hard - even a little skin at the neck would have fixed either of these. And whats with the go with everything doily masquareding as a belt?

What do you think?

PS ...I know I have been MIA but I will be posting regular again and updating the site regularly again as well - sorry about the absence - life beckoned

These dresses would be better on a taller woman, so you'd get some skin in the leg to balance the high necklines. On a short person, they look like they're eating the wearer.

Ok, the first look although not great I could live with at least, the second look is a-w-f-u-l or at least I think so. Vintage or not neither of these work. One other thing that may have helped these looks is the way she was standing, not flattering at all.

Rachael, Rachael, Rachael. What were you thinking? You're like 4 inches too short for both of these pieces. This is your first and last warning. Never do it again! :)
