On the runways for fall, plaid popped up all over the place. Predominately at Mcqueen and Marc Jacobs (go peek at Elle.com if you want a great resource for viewing the collections). I am just in the process of listing this little number that personally I think blows away any of the plaid options I saw on the runways and this little number will move forward into spring as well.
The thing about these little 50's dresses is that you can wear them now with boots and or tights adn platforms and add one of the many cropped little jackets out there right now. Once the weather gets warm enough these dresses are good on their own merit. Its 5 minute dressing - add shoes and bag and out you go. And I am always amazed at how much the addition of an au currant shoe and bag instantly takes a vintage dress from oh so fifties to oh my god where did you get that?
