Though not a picture of a recent appearance by Ashley Olsen, I still like the way she put this outfit together! Her style has really been evolving into something almost approaching lady-like and I think we just might be seeing the start of it here!I love the layering of the off-white 70's floating chiffon over black and then the addition of a simple tie belt to give it shape. If you remember seeing this outfit at the time (the Teen Choice Awards 2006) you will recall that she got a little slammed for it.
The irony is that this exact look is in every magazine NOW!
Right down the the new "clutch bag" trend I just read about in British Vogue last night.
Maybe us vintage fashionistas live in the future by re-living and re-inventing the past, no?
