ABSOLUT VODKA CREATES HOUSE OF MASQUERADE
Opening hours: 5pm - 11pm Free entry
UK INVITED TO JOIN THE MASQUERADE AS ABSOLUT VODKA CREATES HOUSE OF MASQUERADE
In An ABSOLUT World any night can be a Masquerade, and so this October ABSOLUT VODKA is inviting some of the UK’s most fashionable people to visit the House of Masquerade on Shoreditch’s Redchurch Street. For five nights only, the premium vodka brand is teaming up with acclaimed British illustrator Daisy de Villeneuve and vintage clothing boutique Mint to create an exciting new space at the heart of London’s cosmopolitan East End.
Between 24 and 27 October, a 140 m² studio venue will be transformed into a fabulous fashion wonderland, fully stocked by Mint with glamorous vintage clothing and accessories. Taking the new ABSOLUT MASQUERADE gift pack as their lead, guests will enter a world of make believe, while enjoying ABSOLUT VODKA cocktails in plush, elegant surroundings. Whether scouring the rails and shelves of clothes for hidden treasures, or relaxing at one of the comfortable seating areas, visitors to the House of Masquerade will be encouraged to let their imaginations run wild to create their perfect party outfit.
Between 24th and 25th October, music will be provided each night by DJ and performance duo The Broken Hearts, whose energetic sets and eclectic fashion sense are sure to keep guests entertained.
For gift pack ABSOLUT MASQUERADE, the classic shape of the ABSOLUT VODKA bottle has been dressed up for a glamorous night on the town, with a tactile coat of shimmering red sequins that just begs to be touched. The pack can be unzipped like a cocktail dress with a zipper that runs down the back of the pack, sliding apart to reveal the 70cl bottle of vodka inside.
With its new gift pack, ABSOLUT is updating the concept of Masquerade for the modern era, where the possibilities of being yourself and expressing your personality are more important than ever before. ABSOLUT VODKA aims to bring this to life through the House of Masquerade, where guests will be given free reign to try on almost limitless outfit combinations and really let their true colours shine through. There will even be a dedicated stylist on hand to help guests explore the range of fashion options on display.
As part of her involvement in the project, Daisy de Villeneuve will be adding one of her distinctive illustrations to a limited edition run of 250 casebound journals, for sale exclusively through the House of Masquerade. All profits raised from sales of the journals will then be donated to Daisy’s chosen charity, the Terrence Higgins Trust.
Daisy de Villeneuve says: “I’m a big fan of vintage, both clothing and furniture, so Mint Vintage fits perfectly with my collaboration for ABSOLUT MASQUERADE. I am also pleased to support Terrence Higgins Trust, one of my favourite charities.”
