I was so pleased to find out that Grey Gardens would be shown here in Canada last night and made a point to watch it. I was blown away. Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange where phenomenal in this film. When it ended I turned to My Guy and said - we MUST track down the original documentary to watch and then 3 seconds later found out that HBO was running it as well! It was an extraordinary thing to see the real Beales just moments after seeing Drew & Jessica's portrayal's. I loved the movie, loved the wardrobes, loved the acting, loved everythign about this film. If you did not get a chance to see it - make sure you catch a repeat and pray they run the new film back to back with the original documentary.These two women blew it out of the park with their perfomances and Drew Barrymore has once and for all proved that not only is she pretty on the red carpet but that she, like Jessica, is a bona fide Movie STAR.
