So technically its NOT a lunch to meet moi, but I will be in attendance as a supporter!
The Fashion History Museum is launching this weekend and the founders
Kenn Norman, Chair & Jonathon Walford, Curatorial Director;
are throwing a luncheon to help raise funds and get the word out. And if you are not in the area I am sure they will still sell you a ticket - it is to help raise funds after all!
So if you are in the Guelph area and want to come to the
Lunch and Launch please get in touch with Kenn and he will set you up kennnorman@rogers.com
Telephone:
647.328.0017 (Toronto)
519.267.2091 (Cambridge)
The ticket only wine reception and luncheon is at 1PM and features the cuisine of Chef Yasser Qahawish. This will be followed by a private viewing of the collection at the Guelph Civic Museum. Collection highlights include designs by Worth, Westwood & Versace and Jessica Biffi of Project Runway Canada fame will showcase one of the dresses made from her design for Winners!
Wine, vintage, design and moi - how can you resist?!?!?!?!

Jonathan is a tremendous asset to the vintage community. He has worked so hard on this museum and I am extremely jealous that you will be attending. If only I lived closer.
Please give Jonathan a hug and a congrats for me!
