Celebrity Vintage Spot - Kristin Davis

Kristin Davis went to the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner in this lovely Pierre Balmain Couture. I know it will be a touch too formal and covered for some of you, but it was to go to the white house afterall!

If you can't dress up all proper and lady-like like there, then where could you find another excuse to wear an exquisite gown like this?

Well played Kristin!

Love this

This is my favorite Balmain jacket.

Spotted - Beyonce

In NYC wearing her Balmain jacket. I am actually surprised that the celebs are wearing this shoulder. It looked great on the runway and you know how I feel about my anticipated Studded sandals but the fact remains - that shoulder is tough to carry off. I bet this piece is jaw dropping in real life - crystal is notoriously hard to photo so it captures the brilliance of the stones.

Spotted - Michael Jackson

Now I know you are wondering what Michael Jackson is doing here but I just had to share this with you. The top he is wearing under that jacket?
It's from the fall 2009 Balmain woman's collection.
Lucky bastard

PS I know my blogging has been slow but I am working my ass off on getting the new site launched before month's end. I will post the launch here on the blog and anyone on the email list will get advance notice of the date. If you are not on the list. Go to the front page of my site and get on it! You can also twitter me and I will add you to the mailing list myself!

It won't be long and then I can get back to blogging on a more regular and frequent basis!

Balmain Obsession

It's not hard to get the obsession with Balmain at the moment.

I know there are a ton of photos flying around the internet of the infamous studded jacket but I am nutty about these little fitted dresses in brilliant shades of emerald. And I am completely obsessed with the way the shoes contrast and yet work just so perfectly with these dresses.

Those shoes sold out in moments on Net-A-Porter but a smart and internet savvy fashion crazy girl could have perhaps found them elsewhere for pre-order and at a MUCH cheaper price then at N-A-P.
Do you think I did it?
hmmmmm guess you will have to wait and see .........
