Renee Zellwegger stepped out in this navy Carolina Herrera at the Leatherheads premier.
I had to ask the question when I saw this because as your faithful vintage buying girl
I do see this same silhouette from the 60s and 70s quite often.
It's a pretty classic shapre - sheath dress, tied at the wait, and sheer billowy sleeves.
But when was the last time you saw a girl actually wearing sheer sleeves?
What do you guys think?
Sheer sleeves on a dress.......
Is it a look to add to your closets or is it better off leaving it on the racks?

Personally, I like the dress, but Renee Zellwegger is not aging well at all. But overall I like a sheer sleeve. I've had some tops over the years with sheer sleeves, and I love them. And I honestly do love this dress that Renee is wearing - she just doesn't look good these days.
I have a crazily printed Hanae Mori dress that has sheer sleeves. I like Renee's dress too.
I agree, a good sheer sleeved dress is interesting, and can be beautiful, and it can really make you feel special and unique without being too over the top.
