Rare Rose Marie Reed Dress & Long Fringed Scarf

Rose Marie Reid is best known for designing killer swimwear from the 1950s through to the 1970s. Somewhere in the 1970s she also produced a line of dresses that where great for lounging and being the uber hostess by the pool back in the day. This one is made of slinky jersey and combines an almost leopard-like print with a bright splash of colorful flowers on the skirt and bodice. The cut is very flapper influenced so is superbly easy to wear. It comes with a matching mile-ling fringed scarf that you can use as a wrap, shawl, belt or headpiece. All in perfect as new condition, of course! Approx a modern medium though the cut will work on either side of a true medium!

An Amazing Draped & Cut Marni Dress

This is not vintage of course but I just cannot turn down a beautiful dress even if it is from a much more recent time period. If you are a Marni fan you know how genius she cuts every piece and this one is particularly ingenius. The top is cut to never sit flat and even though I have shown it like this, you can wear it a few different ways. Its cut and seamed through the hips so it holds that wild, asymmetrical shape but I have also worn my Marni's belted and cinched in at the waist - this also allows you to hike em up and make them shorter for a sexier evening type look. The fabric is of course a work of art. The dress has never been worn

Laid Back Cool 1970s Screened Cotton Tunic

One of the best 1970s hippie look tunics I have seen. In perfect condition - the colors are still crisp and bight. I love the contrasting pattern on the sleeves and around the bottom and those two little pockets just put it over the edge. It that great linen like cotton that just wears perfectly too. Can you imagine this against a tan and flip flops?

How utterly feminine and pretty is this wonderful 1970s Estevez piece. A big floral print in yellow and white silk chiffon on yards and yards of fabric. The front is caped and flows so perfectly, while at the back it dips into a sexy low V. The back buttons with a row of pretty fabric covered buttons and the waist is accented with a pretty satin ribbon.

This is an absolutely brilliant dress that defies words! It is silk chiffon that has been meticulously gathered into an elaborate pleated and sculpted strapless bodice. It nips in at the waist, following every curve and then abruptly at the hip is encircled in fabulous ostrich feathers. The skirt is also fitted and cut to appear as a wrap and expose the leg when you walk. Seriously one of the best dresses ever to pass through my hands. What a pretty little dress in a that wonderful 1950s cotton that seems so much crisper and fresher then today's version! The dress is cut with a fuller skirt and I have shown it without a crinoline as I don't think it looks as modern to wear one, although you could wear a light one with this dress! It buttons all the way up the front and on each side of the buttons runs a pretty trail of embroidered blue flowers.

Beaded 1940s Raspberry Crepe Swing Dress

When this one arrives you will DIE over the true color - it is so much richer and deeper in real life! It is a true mulled wine raspberry hue! It is one of the best forties swing dresses I have ever come across too! The dress has a beaded neckline with a little keyhole, slight flutter sleeves and amazing beaded pockets. The skirt is nice and full and infinitely flattering. It closes with a side zip and is immaculate. 1970s Red Moss Crepe Corset Dress from Ossie Clark

I have had this beauty tucked away for a while now and pulled it for my client yesterday but she chose another Ossie form my collection. Since I showed it to her, its only fair that the rest of you get a shot at it too! This is a rare corset dress from the great Ossie Clark in red moss crepe. I have tied the front ties fairly simple for these pictures but you can get as wild as you want in how to tie them! This is THE original bondage inspired dress!

It is a LOT brighter red in person and has those crazy ass medieval sleeves that show up every once in awhile on an Ossie. You will not see this dress very often and it is a must have for collectors! You better buy it before I change my mind because I am already crying a bit as I write this! It is of course, immaculate as are all Shrimpton Couture items.

Will fit a modern 4-6.
The waist is extremely forgivable so if you are bigger and small through the shoulders and have thin arms you can still wear it!
